Home of Serenity is a nonprofit organization that was formed on 05/10/2021
to provide residential care to homeless and disadvantaged pregnant youth. We currently have a facility located in Detroit Michigan. Our team is working every waking hour to open doors to impact our community.
Our mission is to provide residential care services to maternal youth aged 15 - 21 who are homeless or disadvantaged. We will provide a safe and nurturing residence while helping these young families in becoming self-sufficient when leaving our program.
We provide opportunities to youth throughout the city of Detroit to build self esteem and work to prevent developmental barriers,
Our Residential Care Program
Home of Serenity's Residential program strives to meet the needs of pregnant and parenting mothers aged 15-21. We provide a safe and
nurturing environment by providing much needed support, guidance, and love. Individualized action plans are incorporated to meet the goals of each family. Some of these goals are: education attainment, therapy, medical treatment, independent living skills, parenting classes, mentoring, recreation, and aftercare.
