Transition to motherhood requires physical, psychological, social, and cognitive preparedness. Many young mothers are not prepared. They must adapt with adulthood social roles, physical changes of puberty, significant brain development, and nurturing of their infant.
Most young mothers are not in a good socio-economic condition. Therefore, transition to motherhood becomes problematic for them and leaves them in undesirable circumstances.
There is a constant need for support and training.
